March 2008

..it is a pioneering effort as previous efforts focused more on epics and verses. ...This approach not only brings contemporariess but reminds the much needed spirit...This appears to me the right way to envision Indian Management...Articulation is weak at times....Despite all this your book has opened a new vista for people..

..The publication , in fact, proves to a great piece of information for academia around the world.

We agree in totality that due to western influence , our own Indian management style has lost its shine but the book has succeeded in bridging the gap between western ideologies and Indian ethos in management , for which I congratulate the author. It is evident that painstaking efforts have been made to compile the book and it truly is a masterpiece. It will definitely broaden the minds of students and they will get an entirely new perspective on the management styles.

Is happy to announce a talk on the theme of
"Business of Freedom – the lessons for modern manager"
(Based on a recently published bestseller "Business of Freedom" by Sandeep Singh)
"Every nation has her heroes and every generation its own thought leaders. India's fight for independence and the women and men who led it have always been a source of inspiration to the generations that have followed. The greatness of their action and sacrifices is equally matched by the timelessness of their thinking. While copious literature exists on their inspirational messages that galvanized an entire nation, with a few honourable exceptions, there has not been much articulation of their philosophies. Moreover, after sixty years of freedom their powerful insights have often been lost in the rhetorical or partisan interpretations of their words. The Business of Freedom (by Shri Sandeep Singh) attempts to fill this knowledge gap." Prof. P. D. Jose, IIM, Bangalore
